Welcome to the church!

Jyväskylä Pentecostal Church is a Bible-based Christian fellowship of 2040 members. We want to be a home for everyone. Come and meet us at our church, Helluntaikirkko, near Jyväskylä city centre, in Hippos area (Okkerinkatu 2).

Under the leadership of our church we also host the Jyväskylä International Christian Fellowship, JICF, that is working with foreigners in Jyväskylä. We welcome all immigrants, international students, Finns with an international heart, and others to our meetings no matter what your faith or background.

Our vision is to see people saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped, empowered and serving (Isaiah 61:1–2). You are warmly welcomed to join our community!

You are most welcome to join our weekly Sunday services:

There is a bilingual worship service in the Pentecostal Church of Jyväskylä every Sunday at 15.00, except for the first Sunday of each month when we join the Communion Service at 11.00. The afternoon services are in English and Finnish – we pray, sing, and read the Bible in both languages. However, we want everyone to feel included, thus we use also other languages for singing and praying time to time.

We also offer interpretation in English in the Finnish speaking worship services on Sundays at 11.00 and on Wednesdays at 19.00. The headsets for the interpretations are available at the info booth in the main lobby.
