Lomautusten vaikutukset seurakunnan arkeen

Tänään käynnistyvät seurakuntamme työntekijöiden osa-aikaiset lomautukset vaikuttavat toimintaamme seuraavan kolmen kuukauden ajan.
- Seurakunnan toimisto on tammikuun loppuun asti avoinna keskiviikkoisin klo 10–13. Muina aikoina voit ottaa yhteyttä tärkeissä asioissa sähköpostitse. Hallintoassistentti työskentelee kolmena päivänä viikossa, mukaan lukien keskiviikko.
- Suntio työskentelee muiden työntekijöiden lomautusten ajan normaalin työaikansa mukaisesti.
- Kirkon siivous toteutuu pääsääntöisesti maanantaina, keskiviikkona ja perjantaina.
- Pastorimme työskentelevät ja ovat tavoitettavissa kolmena päivänä viikossa. Pääsääntöisesti kaikki pastorit ovat vapaalla maanantaisin ja lomautettuna tiistaisin. Viikon toinen lomautuspäivä samoin kuin toinen viikkovapaa määräytyvät kunkin työntekijän työnkuvan mukaan ja niiden sijoittuminen viikkoon voi vaihdella. Jos käytät WhatsApp-sovellusta, voit varmistaa pastoreiden tavoitettavuuden sovelluksesta heidän tilatiedostaan. Löydät sieltä tekstin ”Olen seuraavan kerran tavoitettavissa [päivä].”
Tämän hetken arvion mukaan lomautusten ei pitäisi vaikuttaa toimintamuotoihin muutoin kuin mahdollisissa vapaaehtoisten äkillisissä poisjäänneissä, joita ei nyt välttämättä pystytä paikkaamaan työntekijävoimin lomautustilanteen järjestelyjen vuoksi. Arvioimme toimintamuotojen toimivuutta viikoittain uudelleen.
On hyvä myös huomata, että laatu saattaa nyt monin paikoin hetkellisesti heiketä vähennetyn työajan vuoksi. Tämä voi vaikuttaa muun muassa siivouksen tasoon ja ennakkoon työtekijävetoisesti valmisteltaviin asioihin.
Lomautusjakson aikanakin olemme kuitenkin toimiva seurakuntayhteisö, jossa pyrimme auttamaan toinen toisiamme. Sielunhoidollisissa asioissa voit kääntyä rohkeasti myös seurakuntamme vanhimmiston puoleen (ks. yhteystiedot) ja virallisissa asioissa vanhimmiston puheenjohtajiston puoleen.
Koska elämme hetken poikkeustilanteessa ja tavoitettavuus on rajoitettua, olethan ajoissa liikkeellä yhteydenottojesi kanssa.

The impact of layoffs on the church’s daily activities

The partial layoffs of our church employees, which begin today, will affect our activities for the next three months.
- The church office will be open on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the end of January. At other times, you can contact the office by email for important matters. The administrative assistant will work three days a week, including Wednesdays.
- The sexton will work according to his normal working hours during the layoffs of other employees.
- The church cleaning will mainly take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
- Our pastors will be working and available three days a week. As a rule, all pastors are off on Mondays and on leave on Tuesdays. The second day of leave each week, as well as the second day off each week, are determined according to each employee’s job description and may vary from week to week. If you use WhatsApp, you can check the pastors’ availability in the app from their status information. There you will find the text ”I will be available next on [day].”
According to current estimates, the layoffs should not affect our operations other than in the event of sudden volunteer absences, which the employees may not be able to fill due to the layoff arrangements. We will reassess the situation with our operating practices on a weekly basis.
It should also be noted that quality may temporarily decline in many areas due to reduced working hours. This may affect, among other things, the level of cleaning and matters that require advance preparation by employees.
However, even during the layoff period, we remain a functioning church community where we strive to help one another. For pastoral matters, we encourage you to contact our church elders (see contact details here under ”vanhimmisto”) and, for official matters, the chair and vice-chair of the elders.
