NiceDesign – Keep on blooming

Lauantaina 28.11. kokoonnumme jälleen Jyväskylän helluntaikirkolle viettämään yhteistä NiceDesign-päivää. Tuleva päivä on erityinen, sillä se on viimeinen NiceDesign. Jo 19 (!) vuoden ajan olemme saaneet kokoontua kohtaamaan Jumalaa, kokemaan yhteyttä, jakamaan elämää ja saamaan uusia näkökulmia. Olemme äärettömän kiitollisia kaikesta siitä, mitä kuluneiden vuosien aikana on ND-työn kautta tapahtunut. Kaikella on kuitenkin aikansa ja näin on myös ND:n kohdalla. Olemme tiiminä tulleet siihen päätökseen, että on aika jättää jäähyväiset ND-työlle ja antaa tilaa uusille aluille.
Emme kuitenkaan halua päättää ND-matkaa voivotellen ja allapäin, vaan iloiten yhdessä kaikesta siitä, mitä on ollut! Siksi olemmekin antaneet viimeiselle ND-päivälle nimeksi Keep on blooming eli jatka kukoistamista. Toivomme ja uskomme, että vaikka NiceDesign päättyykin, Jumala jatkaa työtään meidän kaikkien elämässä. Viimeisen ND-päivän teema onkin toivo: vaikka ND-taival tulee päätökseen, haluamme luoda katseen eteenpäin. Puhumme siitä, mikä meille tuo toivoa, miksi toivo on tärkeää ja mistä toivoa voi löytää niin kriisien kuin tavallisen arjen keskellä.
Viimeisen ND-päivän opetuksesta vastaa Annu Shemeikka ja musiikista HOPE. Päivän aikana kuulemme myös tarinoita toivosta sekä saamme viettää aikaa yhteisen lounaan äärellä. Ja tottakai haluamme viettää myös hetken muistellen ja juhlien, sekä kiittäen Jumalaa siitä, mitä Hän on NiceDesignin kautta tehnyt. Haluamme juhlia yhdessä huimaa ja vaiherikasta ND-taivalta!
Tällä kertaa varsinainen ND-päivä päättyy n. klo 17.30, jonka jälkeen halukkaat voivat vielä jäädä yhteiselle iltapalalle ND-jatkojen merkeissä. Jatkoilla saamme vielä viipyillä hetken ND-fiiliksissä ja jakaa muistoja matkan varrelta. Olisi ihanaa päästä porisemaan mahdollisimman monen kanssa vielä jatkoillakin!
Ilmoittautuminen
Ilmoittautuminen päivään on kaksivaiheinen:
- Maksa early bird -ilmoittautumismaksu 25 € 21.10. mennessä (tai 22.10. alkaen 28 €) Jyväskylän helluntaiseurakunnan tilille
IBAN FI24 4600 0010 8732 10, viitteellä 12522.
HUOM: opiskelijoille ja eläkeläisille early bird -hinta (7.–21.10.) on 20 €. Maksaessasi opiskelija-/eläkeläishinnan ilmoita tieto ilmoittautumislomakkeessa. - Täytä oheinen ilmoittautumislomake.
HUOM: jotta osaamme varata iltapalalle oikean määrän tarjottavaa, ilmoitathan lomakkeella, aiotko osallistua jatkoille.
Osallistumismaksu kattaa päivän annin.
Ilmoittautuminen päättyy lauantaina 21.11. tai kun tapahtuma tulee täyteen (max. 220 henkilöä).
Peruutuksen sattuessa osallistumismaksua ei palauteta, vaan se käytetään hyvin NiceDesignin kulujen kattamiseen. Ilmoittautumisia ei oteta vastaan ilmoittautumisajan päätyttyä. (NiceDesign-työtä tehdään vapaaehtoisvoimin, eivätkä resurssimme riitä ilmoittautumisten hallinnoimiseen tapahtumaa edeltävällä viikolla. Ilmoittautuminen suljetaan viikkoa ennen tapahtumaa, jotta käytännön järjestelyissä voidaan edetä tiedossa olevan osallistujamäärän mukaan. Ymmärräthän tämän ❤️)

In English:
On Saturday, November 28, we will gather once again at Jyväskylä Pentecostal Church to spend the day together at NiceDesign. This day will be a special one, since it will be the last NiceDesign event. For 19 (!) years, we have had the privilege of gathering together to encounter God, experience community, share life, and gain new perspectives. We are incredibly grateful for everything that has happened through the NiceDesign ministry over the years. However, everything has its season, and the same is true for NiceDesign. As a team, we have decided that it is time to say goodbye to the NiceDesign ministry and make room for new beginnings.
However, we don’t want to end this journey with sadness, but by celebrating all that has been! That’s why we have given this event the title Keep on blooming. We hope and believe that even though NiceDesign is coming to an end, God will continue His work in each of our lives. This is why the theme of our final NiceDesign day is hope: even though this is the last event, we want to fix our eyes to the future. We will talk about what gives us hope, why hope is important, and where we can find hope both in the midst of crises and in everyday life.
The teaching at the event will be given by Annu Shemeikka, and HOPE will serve us in music. During the day we will also hear stories of hope and enjoy lunch together. And of course we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank God for everything He has done through NiceDesign. We want to celebrate this incredible and eventful journey together!
This time, the official event will end at approximately 5:30 pm. After that, those who wish can stay for an evening snack and continue the celebrations together. During the after-party, we can stay a little longer in the NiceDesign atmosphere and share memories from along the way. It would be wonderful to have the chance to chat and spend some time with as many of you as possible!
Registration
Registration for the event has two steps:
- Pay the early bird registration fee of €25 by October 21 (or €28 from October 22 onwards) to the account of Jyväskylä Pentecostal Church:

Please note: The early bird price for students and pensioners is €20 (October 7–21). If you are paying the student/pensioner price, please mention this on the registration form. - Fill in the registration form below.
Please note: In order for us to be able to prepare the right amount of evening snacks, please indicate on the registration form whether you plan to stay for the afterparty.
The registration fee covers the programme and activities of the day.
Registration closes on Saturday, November 21, or when the event reaches its maximum capacity of 220 participants.
In the event of cancellation, the registration fee will not be refunded but will be used to cover NiceDesign’s expenses. Registrations cannot be accepted after the registration period has ended. NiceDesign is organized entirely by volunteers, and our resources are not sufficient to manage registrations during the week leading up to the event. Registration closes one week before the event so that we can make the practical arrangements based on the confirmed number of participants. We hope you understand. ❤️
Those who have registered will receive a welcome email with more information about the day by Tuesday, November 24 at the latest.
